Junior Graphic Designer

Know your bogey from your birdie? We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to create and execute branded and innovative designs for our client base of golf clubs throughout the globe. 

Our ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and confident, a team player that can take ownership of projects and work with initiative while following Eagle’s high standards and work flow processes. Candidates will be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

We are ideally looking for an individual with a keen interest in golf although this is not essential.

As the successful applicant, you will sit within our growing design team and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining designs across our range of printed products.

**The position is fully office-based in Caterham, Surrey**


Who we are
Eagle is the market leader for all golf club industry advice and supplies. We work with a golf club’s identity to produce quality solutions and products, however we can ultimately produce and market anything that will help the club. We do this through creating bespoke course signage and wayfinding systems, high quality printed items, for the day-to-day running of each club, and branding services. We are industry experts in golf club brand identity, having the experience and knowledge managing and helping new and existing brands thrive in the golfing world.

We have our own manufacturing and print facilities, with a new American base opening in the new year, aligning with Eagle’s growth and vision for the future.


What you’ll do
• Be an integral part of the team, supporting the admin and sales teams with high quality designs and artwork for a range of golf clubs.
• Embrace different creative challenges from a range of brands.
• Work on a range of printed products including scorecards, bag tags, diaries and green fee tickets.
• Be a brand guardian for Eagle, ensuring and maintaining consistency and accuracy on all of our proofs.
• Be a proactive member of the design studio, whilst also able to take design direction from senior design colleagues.


What you’ll bring
• A passion for high-end graphic design.
• Formal qualification in design with an awareness of the latest design trends.
• Strong working knowledge and efficiency in Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop.
• Great typesetting skills.
• Have a good understanding of style sheets, parent pages, layout and typography.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to take the initiative.
• Confident artworker.
• Problem solver.
• Able to follow brand guidelines.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• A desire and willingness to learn with a can-do attitude.
• Good written and spoken English.
• A keen interest in golf/sport (although this is not essential).

Administration Assistant

The role of the Administration Assistant is to support the daily administrative tasks of the Eagle business – for example, but not limited to, responding to emails, answering the telephone, handling enquiries and finding / offering the best solutions to what our clients are looking for.


Key Skills :
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong IT skills – Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Sage is desirable. 
• Administration skills – responding to emails, filing, processing and responding to enquiries, producing quotations for customers, etc.

Digital Print Assistant

Job Summary:
The role of the Digital Print Assistant is to support the daily print tasks of the Eagle business –for example, operating a digital press and operating finishing equipment. Whilst some level of print experience is preferred, this is a role where full training will be provided.


Key Skills:
Understanding of print equipment technology, notably a Ricoh digital printer and Duplo finishing equipment.
• Strong IT skills – Fiery; Imposition Software; Microsoft Outlook; knowledge of Sage is desirable.
• Design and art working skills.
• Printing and finishing all documents efficiently and economically.
• Artwork creation and modification, using imposition software where required.
• Keeping records of works completed to enable invoicing to clients and payments to suppliers.
• Undertaking administrative work related to internal and external orders.
• Be responsible for paper stock control, ordering paper supplies and other consumables for the digital print function.
• Organising daily shipping and despatches.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Strong organisational skills – ability to prioritise and effective time management.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs.
• A professional appearance.
