Houghton’s existing website had not been updated in a long time and the management felt that it was preventing them from showcasing what they truly had to offer and therefore a number of potential and members were overlooking them. EAGLE were tasked with getting an understanding of the Club and putting together a plan for a new website which showcased the best aspects of the Club and helped them move forward collectively, whilst still enabling anyone at the Club to make content changes regularly.
EAGLE first collated all the existing logos and designs that the Club had been using and put together a new clear, simple and modern-looking brand identity that maintains the traditional and warm feeling the Club has due to its thriving community. EAGLE then performed a course and facilities photoshoot to produce some high quality content to fill the website with the course looking at its best. After signing off a site map for the website and agreeing the functionality, EAGLE then went about developing the new website on the WordPress platform.

Houghton were over the moon with the outcome, and the new shop window breathed new life into the members and gave them new found confidence as a Club. They are now looking to go from strength to strength and attract more members and students from the university nearby.
