The Challenge

Knole Park Golf Club and it’s fantastic course in Kent was aiming to move up in the Top 100 Golf Rankings. The main challenge the golf club was facing was lifting the profile of the club so that it was perceived even better than it currently was. They had invested in new facilities such as a practice facility and showers but one part of the golf course that was letting them down was their signage. They were also stepping up their advertising and were struggling with their brand management and keeping logos and designs consistent across all their marketing collateral.

The Process

Eagle performed a signage audit on the golf club and based on the golf club’s aims, decided that a brand redevelopment was vitally important to move the club forward. Once Eagle’s graphic design team had completed this, the new branding could then be projected through a signage project that gave first time visitors the best possible impression of the club.

The Outcome

The branding guidelines document provided by Eagle now works as the golf club’s “visual identity bible” at the club, with the logo and designs being matched across the website and marketing collateral, making up for a very professional look.  The customer journey signage project is something that members have said really elevates the feel of the club. Knole Park recently played host to the Tilman Trophy, a major amateur tournament that the R&A cover and the fact that they are hopeful to become an Open Qualifying course suggests that the club is going from strength to strength.
