What is something that few people know about you?
Jim Clark (racing driver) is my late great step uncle. A bit tenuous but thought would throw it in.
Working from home will be new to many and a challenge for others – what are your top three tips for working at home?
1. Resist staying in pyjamas.
2. Resist raiding the fridge every 10 minutes.
3. Resist thinking too much about why you agreed to self-isolate with your significant other!
Have you been doing anything to keep Member morale up?
Keeping Members engaged with quiz’s, a withdrawal series interviewing Members etc but nothing revolutionary, unfortunately.
When this is all over and a sense of normality returns, what is the first thing that you are looking forward to doing?
Hearing the words “Can I see your passport and boarding pass please”.
What is your golf handicap? 15.
What is your favourite golf club in the bag and why?
My 5 iron – the trajectory of most people’s 2 iron so handy in the wind!
We have all experienced that one shot that as we recall, could well be the greatest shot that we have ever played. What is your most memorable shot in golf? My only Hole in 1 – Duns Golf Club as a junior.
Which three guests would you invite to make up that dream four ball and why?
To walk on the tee and join Tiger Woods, Ricky Gervais and Paige Spiranac, for me, would truly be a dream four ball.
